The ABM Series of Automated Box Making and Gluing Machines
ABM Brochure 2008
The owners of T-ROC Equipment, Ron Cowell and Tim DeHoff, have 50 years of combined experience designing and manufacturing industrial equipment. In the year 2000, after establishing T-ROC Equipment, in Kansas City, Kansas, they focused on producing the ABM series of computer-enhanced box making and gluing machines. Since then, T-ROC Equipment's reputation in the packaging industry has risen steadily. Innovative design and the ability to meet customers' needs have awarded T-ROC great success. T-ROC Equipment now sells box making and assembly equipment in several countries and receives endorsements from customers around the world. In the July 26, 2007 issue of SeacoastOnline, Shir Haberman quotes this testimonial from Jeff Ballantyne, owner of the Parcel Room on Woodbury Avenue, Portmouth, NH:
Jeff Ballantyne
"The things it can make are amazing! The Automatic Box Maker 60 has tripled my box-making capacity and allowed me to make boxes to the specific size required by my customers. With all the parcel services basing their rates on box size, that has substantially cut costs for many of my regular customers."
Since shipping the first box machine, the ABM-72, in 2000,T-ROC Equipment has expanded the series of automated box making machines to include four different models, the Medium Size Machine (MBM/60), the Heavy Duty Machine (HBM/72-86), the Super Duty Machine (SBM/72-86), and the Fan-Fold Machine (FFM). T-ROC Equipment adds productivity to the line with automated box assembly equipment, such as the ABG Automated Box Gluing Machine. TROC also designs and engineers customized industrial machinery.
On demand box making capabilities allow manufacturers the versatility to respond to specialized
packaging needs. Using computer-enhanced box making and assembly equipment, it is easy to switch
from making one box design to another. Through an easy to operate color touch
screen,
the Automated Box Maker (ABM) guides the operator through the entire process of making a
box blank and remembers box designs for future use. After using the color touch screen to store a custom style and dimensions in memory
, the operator feeds in a stock flat sheet of material. The ABM cuts and scores a box
blank in less than 12 seconds, and continues to construct hundreds of blanks per hour.
In addition to providing versatility, on-demand box making capabilities save floor space. Making custom box
blanks with an automated box maker (ABM) is an alternative to storing every size and style
of box in the warehouse and on the production floor.
An ABM cuts and scores tight-fitting containers for retail distribution or
makes large boxes for heavy
industrial equipment. The box blanks ABMs produce are slit rather than slotted, a cleaner
operation (no waste removal from slotting) that produces boxes with tighter
fitting corners.
In addition to making box blanks, ABMs can produce ecologically friendly
inner packaging, such as bins, dividers, and pads. An ABM is the right tool for packaging
specialized and hard-to-ship items. Computer-enhanced box making and gluing equipment performs
traditional tasks more quickly and accurately!
